The Timeless Value of Printed Portrait Photography: A Step Back from the Digital World

Imagine a world without the internet, a concept that might seem foreign to the digital natives of today.  It's a thought that makes you pause, isn't it?

But here's the thing – I grew up in a time when the internet was just a dream, and I cherished the outdoors, got crafty, and found endless ways to stay engaged (admittedly, with a bit of TV thrown in).  So, imagining a life without constant connectivity isn't a stretch for me.  In fact, I believe it's healthy to disconnect every now and then – but that's a story for another day!

Now, fast forward to today, and it’s easy to get caught up in the online world. We're constantly connected, scrolling through photos on our phones and social media. But here's a thought: Do we still value those tangible, physical memories the way we used to?

In fact, printed photographs are a treasure. In a world filled with digital files that can get lost, deleted, or corrupted, printed portrait photos stand the test of time. You don't need Wi-Fi to enjoy them. Whether it’s a family portrait, a newborn photo, or a maternity portrait, holding a print in your hands allows you to relive the moment in a much more personal and meaningful way.

Just recently, I sent off a beautiful album filled with portraits of a lovely family, ready to be enjoyed for generations. The best part? No power outages or Wi-Fi hiccups can take away the joy of holding that album and flipping through those pages.

So, I ask you: Do you still print your photos? Or have they been left in the digital world, hidden away on your phone? Share your thoughts!
